AMR Architects, Inc. was founded in 1982 with a central purpose in mind: To create buildings that enhance environment and work for owners and occupants, while providing joy in their everyday use.

The Heritage Center West 

In 1985 AMR won the Award of Merit for the Heritage Center Renovation on East Markham. The renovation of this building marks the beginning the long history of revitalization of what is now known as the "River Market District."

The River Market, once an abandoned, desolate neighborhood, has been a catalyst for development of the now flourishing district which includes museums, restaurants, hotels, housing and commercial businesses.

Ross Pendergraft Library at Arkansas Tech University

The Pendergraft began a long relationship with ATU in which AMR helped create a master plan for the campus and execute it including buildings such as the Chambers Cafeteria, Baswell Techionery, Rothwell Hall, Brown Hall Administration Building, Norman Art Building, Indoor Multi-Sport Complex, M Street Dorm and Baswell Residence Hall.

Tuf Nut Lofts 

We designed Tuf Nut Lofts which used to be a warehouse space, and later came back and renovated the first floor for retail.

AMR partners with Moses Tucker to build first condo living units in downtown Little Rock.

Standing seven stories high, this downtown mixed-use building consists of condos, office space and restaurant.

AMR Continues to work in pedestrian focused environments from the River Market District to University Campuses.
