The project consists of a new 10,400 SF single-story academic science building at Arkansas Tech University. McEver Hall is an addition to the existing building and originally conceived by the owner to be a mirror image expansion. The program of the addition didn’t lend itself to the original scheme and a contemporary addition was constructed to compliment the existing building.

The building includes wet biology research and teaching labs, computer lab, offices and support spaces. The teaching lab spaces have exposed wood trusses and roof decking that open up to northern facing clerestories.
